A mere fifteen-minute drive will take you to discover one of the region's fabulous castles—Château de Chenonceau, gracefully spanning the river Cher. Within a 25-minute drive, you can reach the Château Royal d'Amboise, as well as the castle of Chaumont-sur-Loire with its beautiful gardens. Venturing a bit farther, explore the castles of Chambord, Cheverny, Loches, Blois, and more.
 

For those seeking more active relaxation, indulge in one of France's most beautiful cycling routes, meandering along the entire Loire Valley.
 

Families will find joy in visiting one of the world's largest and renowned zoological and botanical parks, the Zoo Parc de Beauval, home to over 3000 species of animals!
 

For leisurely strolls, we recommend the towns of Montrichard or Bourré, both conveniently located near our guest house (5 minutes by car). In Montrichard, enjoy the beach with a view of the fortress, rent a canoe or water pedal, and take advantage of the year-round availability of indoor and outdoor swimming pools. In Bourré, discover mysterious troglodyte houses and numerous wine cellars offering tours and wine tastings.
 

Within 25 minutes, explore the charming streets of Montresor, acclaimed as one of the most beautiful villages in France.
 

City of Tours, renowned for its medieval old town, botanical garden, and market featuring exceptional local products, is a 50-minute drive. And city of Blois, the department's central hub, is only 40 minutes away.
