The “Prés de montgolfières” lodge opened its doors at the beginning of 2018 . This lodge is founded and maintained by a Lithuanian family: Mrs Vengriene Lina and Mr Vengrys Aurimas, as well as their children. Arriving in France for the first time in 2011, the couple fell under the spell of the Central Region and particularly Touraine. After spending 6 summers in this region, they decided to make their second home here.
Their decision to settle here is due to the surrounding calm , the very friendly neighborhood as well as the landscape marked by vineyards and fields, where while walking, one can meet horses and donkeys. What appealed to the owners was the distance that separated them from big cities and their noise, but without being completely cut off from the outside world. Mrs and Mr Vengrys are happy that in 5 minutes by car they can go to Montrichard, a charming little town with a beach and aquatic activities. While in 30 minutes they can visit all the most important castles in the region (Amboise, Chenonceaux, Chambord, Chaumont sur Loire, Cheverny). Their children love the ZooParc de Beauval, just a 20-minute drive from the guest house. In the surrounding area, there are a large number of pretty paths that the Vengrys family likes to take for their walks or bike rides in their free time.
Mr Vengrys Aurimas and Mrs Vengriene Lina are the hot air balloon pilots . They traveled in a hot air balloon over the skies of Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Australia. Mr Vengrys is the Manager and Chief Pilot of the company “Touraine, Terre d’Envol / Loire et Montgolfière SARL”. For Mr Vengrys, hot air balloon flights are not only a processional activity, but also the passion that has accompanied him for many years as well as a way of life.
The company “Touraine, Terre d’Envol” and the Vengrys family moved to Angé . Their lodge “Prés de montgolfières” is intended to be a place where the fruit of their love for this region and their passion for hot air balloon flying are combined.
